The beautiful autumn weather continues. A few brief spells of rain—mostly at night—make the colors appear even fresher and more vibrant. The roses and cosmos are thriving in these conditions and have begun to bloom again. The Swiss chard loves this weather, too—we keep harvesting and harvesting! Even one of our newly planted lavender bushes is in bloom.
We have finished bringing our potted plants in for the winter, and the pond was cleared out just in time.
As for the grapes, we only managed to save a few—the blackbirds have stripped everything bare!
