This is how autumn brings joy: sunshine and leaves glowing in every color!
Back in early September, we bought heather and cyclamen to beautify the edges of the new path. Everything has taken root well.
This year, things are blooming earlier—the verbena is in full flower, and there are even some late-blooming anemones and roses.
The failure of our fruit harvest forced us to buy plums to make Powidl (thick plum marmelade). Naturally, the standard garden plums weren’t available, so we had to use a different variety—which, unfortunately, has a much lower sugar content. As a result, we had to add sugar to the Powidl (something that is, strictly speaking, a “no-go”).
