We spent the first two weeks of November in the Azores.
Back home, we had to battle through the fallen, wet leaves… and the cold we had escaped had us in its grip again.
We wanted to tidy up the garden the very next day after taking the photos, but drizzle and fog delayed the gardening work for days. Finally, the car was full of overflowing garden bags again, and the paths were passable once more.
As every year, a few roses are defying the cold, and a few late autumn flowers are still blooming.
